There are two ways to join the Group:
1. Get on the internet and go to groups.yahoo.com/group/ramblin_pushers on the Yahoo website. This is the home page for the group and you will see a button/link to “Join this Group.” You will need to establish a Yahoo username and password, first. This is required by Yahoo and not the e-group. When you complete the membership process, you will receive a message that your membership needs approval and a place to enter a reason for joining. The moderators will receive an e-mail asking to approve the membership request. Upon receipt by Yahoo of a reply for approval by the moderators, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and a welcome e-mail with some operational information from the moderator.
(See next column)
If you don’t use the link above, you can go to the Yahoo home page and search for groups using the term ramblin_pushers. You can then click the Join this Group Link on the ramblin_pusher home page. You will then go through the process above.
2. An alternate way is to send a message to Larry Laursen with a request to be invited join the Group. I can go on the site and invite you to join. You will then receive an e-mail from Yahoo with your invitation and you will be required to establish the necessary username and password for Yahoo access similar to the above method. This can be easier; however, if you have a firewall and/or spam control software built into you e-mail program i.e. MSM, AOL, Earthlink, etc. These programs may consider the Yahoo generated e-mail as spam. You would then have to check your spam folder to see if you received the e-mail generated by my actions.
Personal Information that may need to changed such as e-mail address or profile needs to be done on YOUR Yahoo personal account page. You can go to the web site shown above and change personal preferences such as: receiving individual e-mails, daily digests or no e-mail.
The E-Group is only promoted to Chapter 419 Members, but anyone interested in HR diesel motorhomes can join. When you post a message, please sign it with your first name.
Our hope is to hear from a few new E-Group participants. When you log on, let the folks in the Group know that you are new. We are a Group with a wealth of information - let’s share some of those thoughts and help each other learn about our rigs.
